You’ll find several foundations that support prostate cancer and other male cancers below. We encourage you to donate to the foundation of your choice.

Prostate Cancer Foundation – Since 1993, our unique strategies for identifying and investing in the most promising research programs have generated life-saving results. We channel resources to the world’s top scientific minds—cutting red tape and encouraging collaboration to speed breakthroughs. As a champion for increased government and private support, PCF has helped build a global research enterprise of nearly $10 billion. Through the generous contributions of our donors, we have funded more than 1,500 programs at nearly 200 research centers in 12 countries.

American Cancer Society – Together with our millions of supporters, the American Cancer Society (ACS) saves lives and creates a world with less cancer and more birthdays by helping people stay well, helping people get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back.

Movember – The Mo, slang for moustache, and November come together each year for Movember. Movember challenges men to change their appearance and the face of men’s health by growing a moustache. The rules are simple, start Movember 1st clean-shaven and then grow a moustache for the entire month. The moustache becomes the ribbon for men’s health, the means by which awareness and funds are raised for cancers that affect men. Much like the commitment to run or walk for charity, the men of Movember commit to growing a moustache for 30 days.

MaleCare – Malecare, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, founded in 1997. Malecare develops practical, life saving programs to address the problem of men dying sooner than women. Since 2005, we have expanded our programs to include services and research regarding the effects of cancer on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people via our new nonprofit organization, the National LGBT Cancer Project-Out With Cancer.

Zero Cancer – Zero prostate cancer deaths. Zero prostate cancer cases and for those with prostate cancer it means a zero PSA. Our name conveys what we stand for zero tolerance for prostate cancer. To accomplish our goal, we provide comprehensive treatment information to patients, education to those at risk and conduct free prostate cancer testing throughout the country. We increase research funds from the federal government to find new treatments and we fund local grants to end the disease.
